It was supposed to teach us to look at several things and identify one thing that was different than all the other things surrounding it.


It seems that we (America) haven't learned our lessons from Big Bird yet.

In case you have been under a rock for the past 9 years, the Muslim looking men in the photo above are the hijackers from the 9/11/01 flights. The middle aged white woman is just a picture I found on the internet to make my point. I hope I don't get in trouble for using her picture. I'm just trying to teach America how to identify the person that is 'not like the other'.

Let's think about a couple of the attempted terror attacks since 9/11/01.


We had the shoe bomber.....
And we had the underwear bomber......




Are you seeing a pattern here?


Now, before you say anything about the underwear bomber....I know. He looks like any number of young Black Men who were on the last flight I took from Phoenix to Houston. That plane made it okay.

However, there is one thing other than his appearance that makes him 'not like the others'.

His name.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.


America, we need to start profiling.

Let's take a look at a few things that are not being talked about, because we're too busy talking about burning the Koran, or we're too busy talking about how much of a little slut Paris Hilton is.


Our Nation is the greatest nation on earth. Yet we have some serious issues facing us, that our government doesn't seem to be worried about.


Unemployment is at a 30 year high.
Home prices are lower than they have been in years.
Illegal Immigration is threatening our national security.
Our debt has had more added to it in the last 2 years than was racked up from 1789 through 1988.

We can't take time to talk with the Governor of Arizona, or the Governor of Texas to discuss border security, but we have time to possibly talk with some ass clown in Florida who wants to hold a Koran burning. (Although it IS his Constitutional right to do so, all I am saying is where are our priorities?)

This is not to blame any political party. I definitely lean right. I won't hide that. But this is all bigger than Blue vs. Red. This is our Nation. Our way of life. Our existence at stake.


All of our politicians, whether red or blue, jackass or elephant are wrong. They are ALL wrong and they are all working towards the same goal: redistribution of wealth and the fundamental change of our Country.

Our Founding Fathers put our system of Government in place to try to protect us from what is happening. Yet, we continuously see our elected change things as they go in order to obtain what they want.

What THEY want. Not what WE want. (Ie: health care reform. The majority of Citizens in our Country did not agree with health care reform in the way it was passed. This isn't to say we do not need some kind of health care reform, but it was not done properly..... Don't believe it? Just wait. Someday you will).



From those with means to those with needs. That is the secret mantra of politicians on both sides of the isle. That's what they want.

Can't win an election based on what you stand for?

Buy the election. Take from those with means....and give to those with needs.

Make sure you vote. If you don't like how things are going, take a good hard look at your Senator(s) and Congressmen(women) and kick them out of office if they aren't doing what you believe in.

Obama raises debt limit to over 14 trillion behind closed doors.

According to ABC News.com, President Obama on Friday signed in to law the bill raising the public debt limit from $12.394 Trillion to $14.294 Trillion.

That means that every citizen in the U.S. now owes (on behalf of the U.S. Government) $40,000 and every Tax payer owes $113,000.


When will you be able to cover your share?


I have one thing to say to these 'Crazies' we have in Washington.

STOP!

When are we as a Country going to come to the realization that we can't afford all of the entitlement programs that are contributing to the bankruptcy of our Country?

When are we as taxpayers going to come to the realization that we are tired of lining the pockets of the people we elect in to office?

When are we as a Country going to start taking care of our own problems, instead of trying to be the world savior?

When are we going to send a message to those who are running up this debt for us by voting them all out of office?


It is really a shame. America was once a Country of people who were willing and able to WORK for what they wanted and needed.

But now it seems that more and more Americans feel that they are 'owed' something.

They feel that the Gub'ment OWES them. Yet, they have NO IDEA where the money comes from!

"I can afford my gold rolex watch. I can afford gold caps on my teeth. I can afford to put $3000 worth of tires and wheels on my 1983 Chevy Caprice rust bucket. But I can't afford health insurance. So the rest of you OWE it to me."


"I can afford my beer and cigarettes. But I can't afford to put food on the table for my 16 kids. So the rest of you OWE it to me" (They couldn't afford rubbers either)


I am sorry.

But No. No I don't owe it to you.

You owe it to yourself to be proud of who you are. You owe it to yourself to work for what you need.

You owe it to yourself to be smart enough to know what is right.....and what is not.


Now, if we could only get our politicians to act with a little self respect. A little dignity.

A little fiscal responsibility for the rest of us.

It's time to "Camelboy up"

To continue to think that we have to be “politically correct” will be the death of the United States of America.

In today’s day and age of overly sensitive sissy’s who seem to cry about anything that is said or implied about them, we need to come to the realization that “profiling” is a necessary tool that is to be used in the fight against those who seek us harm.

The last time I flew on a domestic flight (which by the way is the only type of flight I’ve ever flown) I was standing in line to take my shoes off. I was looking at the people surrounding me.

Grandma’s, new mothers, children, businessmen of all sorts, and a couple of Middle Eastern Looking men all waiting to be screened.

It struck me funny to see that Grandma got pulled to the side to undergo the ‘thorough’ inspection, while the businessmen and Middle Easterners were sent through the ‘regular’ line.

Let’s take a look at the last few terrorist attacks or attempts on America and let’s look at the people who were the perpetrators.

Do they look like Grandma?
Do they look like Businessmen traveling from Houston to Denver?

No. They look like Middle Eastern men. This is probably because….well…..they ARE Middle Eastern men.

Am I the only one that sees this as ironic?

People, we need to ‘Cowboy Up’ and take things with a grain of salt. If you look like a duck, walk like a duck and quack like a duck, you need to be pulled aside and screened much more thoroughly than Grandma is being screened.

I say that we introduce legislation (since we seem to need to do that for any and every reason these days) that mandates that separate lines and screening areas be set up.

You go through the first set of screening, and if you’re Grandma, you go to the right.
If you look like a Middle Easterner or if your name contains “Abdul” (sorry Paula) “Hussein” or “Barack” you go to the left.

Oh, yes, and if you’re trying to board an international flight without a passport, you automatically go to the ‘enhanced interrogation’ room set up in the back.

I am sorry if this hurts your feelings or makes you feel uncomfortable because you are being singled out when Grandma is not.

Maybe someday, when people who look like you, talk like you, have names like you stop trying to kill us we can then go back to a more ‘politically correct’ way of screening you before you take your flight.

First is a story of a teenage boy, raping and killing an 8 MONTH OLD BOY.

Okay people. It appears that there are two cases here that can be proven quite easily.

DNA will surely show that the accused teen did in fact rape and (as a result of, probably) kill the infant/toddler.


The boyfriend of the woman accused of killing her friend is cooperating. When paramedics arrived to try to help with a non-responsive baby, she passed the baby off as hers. They took her and baby to hospital, and found that baby could not be saved, and found that....oh yeah....you sure look good for having just given birth! (Found that she had not given birth at all.)

The body of the woman who the baby belonged to was later found in the Wacko's CRAWL SPACE!


Seriously. If there ever were two cases, where the accused were simply and absolutely of NO benefit to humanity, these would be the cases.

I say that once found guilty, we march their asses out back and put a bullet in their head.

Maybe we should televise it and make everyone watch it.

Swine Flu Thoughts

This Flu originated in Mexico right?

Every Flu I can remember since I have been old enough to pay attention originated somewhere in Asia.

So, #1 it is strange that this Flu originated in Mexico. Makes one thing that this was not just a naturally occuring illness.

#2 - Some believe that the "Elite" (Obama's real Bosses, the Tri-lateral Commission and Bildeberg Group) are working towards a New World Order. They want a one world government and will stop at nothing to gain it.

One step needed to move towards this goal is an "American Union". Similar to the EU.

You wonder why we aren't closing our borders? Because that wouldn't help us towards a "Unified" North American Continent.


If Swine Flu continues to spread in Mexico, we will see the Mexican Economy (which is already on thin ice) collapse. (One step closer to the American Union and NWO)

We will then see an even greater mass exodus from Mexico to the U.S. which will put an even greater strain on our economy (which is also on thin ice) and could eventually lead to its collapse. (Another step closer).

Instead of viewing the Spectrum as this:

View it as this:

The truth lies somewhere in the middle between "us" (Normal people) and the Conspiracy Theorists. Whether it's closer to "Normal" or "Conspiracy" I don't know.

Is it totally absurd that this Flu outbreak could have been man-made? I don't think so.

If it wasn't man made, is it totally absurd to think that the response is completely political in nature and that the details about how bad it really is (or isn't), are being covered up? I REALLY don't think so.

We aren't being told the whole truth about something.

It's either a lot more threatening or a lot less threatening that we are being told.

Wonder which it is.

Obama and the Socialists....pay attention people.

Today I read that the Obama Administration is going to introduce legislation to REGULATE the pay of Corporate CEO's.

Not only in the banks and other institutions which have received Federal Bail out money, but that it may also apply to publicly owned companies who have done the responsible thing and have run their businesses in an honest manner.

Now, being that I work for a Publicly held Company I have some feelings about this.


It isn't the business of the Federal Government to regulate how much the CEO of my Company makes! It is the business of the Board of Directors and shareholders and no one else.

Now, I am not saying that I think that CEO's should make unlimited amounts of money, irregardless of the financial performance of the company they in charge of. I believe that CEO pay should be tied more closely to company performance. It's okay to get a big bonus if your Company fulfills its obligation to the shareholders.

All I am saying is that it isn't the business of the Federal Government to determine the amount of pay my CEO receives for doing his job.

Let honest companies prosper and let dis-honest or ill-led companies FAIL!

Folks, we are witnessing history. Right now. We are seeing things that I never dreamed I would see. Government take over of banks, the FED printing money like it's going out of style, the Executive Branch of my Country spending over a Trillion dollars in 50 DAYS! (And still taking more of OUR money!)

The expansion of Government that we are seeing right now is not only incredible, but it is also nothing more than the push towards Socialism the Democratic Party Desires.


Honestly, I think all of our lawmakers want the push towards Socialism.

Envision Wrestle Mania. Remember watching that when you were a kid (or maybe you still do watch it).

Well, when those guys are on TV it's "Man....you're scum! I'm going to kick your ASS!"

But after the show, they are all buddies that go out for dinner and a drink. It's just show business.


Well people, our Government is the same thing. The Dems and Republicans are playing us.

They are putting up a Smoke and Mirrors show to distract us from what they are really doing.

People, seriously, we are in a world of hurt. Our Country has lost its way. We're on a path to economic destruction that is going to take decades to fix.


Obama wants you to be pissed off at "W" because of the "Trillion Dollar deficit we (the Dems) inherited".


Are you paying attention people? Okay, I will give Obama the fact that he inherited a trillion dollar deficit. But let's put some things in to perspective here:

1) The inherited deficit took 8 years and two wars to come to fruition.

2) President Obama-mudder-sucka took LESS THAN 90 days to spend another TRILLION dollars on a 'stimulus' package that the only thing it's going to stimulate is that "warm fuzzy feeling" that is creeping up Chris Matthews leg!

3) Is anyone paying attention to the new $600B spending bill that is going to be voted on on Monday?


It's time for a revolution folks. It's time for more Tea Parties. It's time to take our Country back.

Write your Congressman or woman. Tell them how sick you are of the job they are doing. Tell them you intend to vote against any one of them that votes for any more Obamanomics spending bills.

Tell them that we are NOT SOCIALISTS!

Boycott HP and anyone else we can find that is engaging in such acts. I am beginning my search today. I will post on this blog each time I find another Company that is doing business with Country's which would love to see us die.

Time to give thanks.

As I sit on my back porch in sweats and a T-shirt (now I remember why we tolerate the unbearable heat and humidity of SE Texas in the summer) I take pause to remember how great it is to live in a country where we are free to do as we please.

I'm sitting here smoking a turkey. 11 or 12 hours from now, we're going to have some tasty goodness coming off the smoker and we'll have friends and family over for Thanksgiving dinner and it will be a wonderful time.


But I have to remember that there are places in the world, MOST other places as a matter of fact, where people are either not free to do what I am doing, or they don't have the resources to do what I am doing right now.

Cooking a meal for extended family and friends.

A lot of the rest of the world has people just trying to figure out what their next meal will be, or even more important, when their next meal will be.


We live in a country where we the people have the freedoms and ambition to do what is needed to make this Country, this United States of America, the greatest place to live on earth.

We do not live in a 3rd world nation.

The United States of America is not a third world nation.


Unfortunately, a lot of other folks out there in the world, want us to be.


I just hope that our "Leaders" don't mess things up so bad that we become one.


I am thankful today for my family. Their health. Their prosperity. Even those in the family who aren't doing so well, really are still fortunate in that we all have roofs over our heads, and food on the table, whether it be at our own house, or Grandma's house.

Let's just take pause today, for a minute, and remember those less fortunate than we.

Let's take pause today, and for a minute think about the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who are in various hell holes around the world fighting for our right to sit on the back porch and relax while smoking a turkey.

God Bless us all. Especially those less fortunate that I.

I am watching the excellent Investigative Journalism of Al Roker who is doing an expose' on firearms in America and how terrible they are. (Al Roker needs to stick to BBQ)

A commercial comes on. Some mint is selling the "Barack Obama Gold coin".

Freshly minted to commemorate his historic rise to be the 44th President of the United States.

In their commercial, this "mint" says:

I never LOST faith that I live in a great Country! The United States of America is THE GREATEST Country in the world!

Are you serious? Really? Did I just see that on TV?

So let me get this straight: Obama has now formed the "Office of the President Elect" and is giving us weekly addresses. (His approval rating last I heard was over 65% without even doing a thing!) And now he has his own coin to help me remember how he restored my faith in America?


How dare anyone question my faith in The USA?

We aren't even in to the first day of the Obama Presidency and I already want to puke.

You know what?

I challenge anyone who'd like to try to convince me that the United States of America was a bad place until Barack Obama was elected.

Has it occurred to anyone that maybe we need to just let the economy be? Let the economy correct itself?

Our Politicians have been trying so hard for 10 years to stave off any kind of a recession, that when we run out of options to prop up the economy, we're all going to be in a far worse place than we would have been if we'd just let things work themselves out.

Instead of going through a moderate (in the early 2000's) to a now severe recession, we're going to cook the books to keep it from happening.

Then, when this latest round of "stimulus" doesn't work, instead of a severe recession, we'll just go in to another Great Depression.

Will our elected officials ever learn that sometimes, the best thing to do is just leave things well enough alone?

You think your money is really yours? Think again!

So, the latest "Plan" by the Dem's designed to push us ever so much closer to Socialism is to take away the 401(k) savings plan as we know it.

The Dem's want to do away with the 401(k) tax break. The reason is, they say, that the Government is "investing" $80Million per year in to this program (in tax breaks to those using a 401(k) plan) and it isn't doing what it is designed to do, which is foster an environment in which people will actually take the incentive to save for their own retirement. So, since it isn't working to their expectation, they want to change it.

Instead, the Socialists would like to take away your right to invest in to a 401(k) and then make it mandatory that everyone invest in to their "401(k) like" savings plan.

So, basically they are going to force those that are too STOOPID to save for themselves in to doing what the rest of us are already doing, at our cost!

AT OUR COST! Are ya payin' attention?


You save your butt off and you make sacrifices to put money away in your own 401(k).

Your neighbor pisses all of his money away on beer and hookers.

The Dem's feel sorry for your neighbor for being so irresponsible, so they are going to punish you, in order to force him to save for his own retirement.

They don't want it to be thought of as "punishment" though. It's just "being more fair". You can't really expect your irresponsible neighbor to take care of his own retirement can you?

It isn't his fault he he's a complete jackass when it comes to saving for his retirement.

How about those of you already retired on a Government Pension? How about the 15% they want to take away from you to help pay for these new plans? Do you want to take it in the shorts to the tune of 15% each month so that your neighbor can be forced to do something he should already be doing?


I've said in the past that we need to vote out all incumbents.

Scratch that idea folks. At least for this election cycle. We can't afford to vote ANY Republican incumbents out of office.

The Dem's need 9 more seats and they'll be able to literally do anything they want if BHO is elected in to office.

I guess once we get a more balanced Congress and Senate, we can then entertain the idea of voting out incumbents.

For the time being, vote straight Republican ticket and try to preserve what's left of our system of checks and balances.

If we vote in BHO and keep the Democratic majority, we do away with all forms of checks and balances.

If we do this....we will reap what we sow.

Does McCain even know where the jugular is?

I watched the "Town Hall" style debate this evening. I'm not sure how a debate in which Tom Brokaw chooses the questions can be labeled as such, but maybe that will be a future blog post.

I saw at least two instances this evening where McCain could have gone for the jugular and really taken it to Barrack Hussein Obama. (BHO)

When asked about the roll of the United States in foreign affairs where our national security is not threatened, BHO said (I am paraphrasing) "...we would obviously have to step in where genocide or something terrible like that is happening..."

This, only moments after saying that we really had no reason to go in to Iraq.


Really? Saddam Hussein (no relation to Barrack Hussein I am sure) didn't throw 300,000 or more people in to mass graves? Saddam Hussein didn't gas his own people to squash their civil liberties?

McCain? John McCain? Are you in the house?


Second instance was in response to the question involving Russia and how to deal with them. I think the question was basically "How do we support small countries like Georgia without reigniting the Cold War?"


BHO said....he SAID that we "...need to send them financial aide to help rebuild their economy and make sure they are stable..."


McCain? John McCain? Are you in the house?


If I was McCain I would have said something to the effect...."How about if we rebuild our OWN economy before we rebuild Georgia's"


McCain is pissing away this election by not going for the jugular when he needs to.

Folks, I honestly can tell you that voting in this election is going to amount to voting for the lessor of two evils.

At least Sarah Palin is in the mix. She gives me hope.

I wanted to hug her when I saw her on TV today saying "....you mean Barrack Obama doesn't remember that he started his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist?..."


Again, that will be another blog entry on another day.

Is that what Jesus would do?

And I'm not talking about our Savior, but about our friend from "South of the Border".

If you or I decided to emigrate to the great country of Mexico, do you think we could go in to their welfare office and get food stamps?

I don't. I think that what Jesus would do is he would tell me he can't help me and he'd send me on my way.

Why is it then, that Jesus (or Boris or Shmirnoff....this isn't about Mexican immigrants only) can come in to the US and without ever paying a cent in taxes, receive food stamps and welfare? How does he do this without a social security number?

Maybe it's time for a compromise.

Let's just entertain this thought in the spirit of "Bipartisan Cooperation"

Maybe we SHOULD grant amnesty to those already here illegally and give them Citizenship. We would require them to get VALID social security numbers and pay their taxes. Their benefits would be cut off between the date it is announced that amnesty has been granted and the day they receive their VALID social security number.

Once we do this and we are realizing the revenue generated from these new "Tax payers" we can then take some of that money, or even ALL of that money initially and fund the largest full-scale audit of our welfare and social security systems in history.

We need to audit each case and each case worker. When we find a case worker that filed fraudulent papers to get Jesus (or Boris or Shmirnoff) and his family benefits illegally, we prosecute that case worker for welfare fraud.

Our new "Citizens" can flip the bill for the major house cleaning we need.

It's either that, or we need to immediately cut off all benefits to those who do not pay taxes or money in to the coffers which fund these benefits and use the money 'saved' to fund the audit. (This is what I REALLY think the answer is.)

You no pay in.....you no take out!

Either way, we need to take on the problem of welfare fraud where it begins. In the welfare office.


California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas are GREAT places to start.

Do you pay for your neighbors health insurance?

Think about your answer because you probably do!

You will probably end up paying for their defaulted mortgage too.

Oh....wait....you already did!

Who the heck am I going to vote for?

I was flipping channels tonight on DISH NETWORK and I came across channel 73.

OBAMA TV. A whole channel dedicated to Barack Hussein Obama's (from here on out, to be known as BHO) "Plan for America".

My first question is: "Where is McCain TV? What channel is that on?" But, alas, no McCain TV.

The only thing I can figure is that McCain's campaign fund hasn't received enough money from Fannie Mac and Freddy Mae to pay for his TV Channel.

Anyhow, I decided to tune in to BTV for a minute or two.

There he was. BHO lecturing me on how "Washington is broken and we need CHANGE....REAL change"


Really? We need CHANGE?

Does Obama really think I am so ignorant that I don't know that HE is part of the problem?

There isn't a Senator or Representative, Republican or Democrat that has done anything....I mean really done anything for "We the People" since I can remember!

But BHO wants me to believe that it's the "rest" of the "Folks in Washington" who are to blame?

Give me a break!

Let's put together a hypothetical situation here. You go to work, and you don't do your job. How long will it be before you get fired?

A week?

A month maybe, if your HR department decides to intervene to make sure you aren't being picked on?

So, your Boss would fire you if you didn't do your job, right?

Now let's look at the "Folks in Washington". And believe me, this IS a bi-partisan criticism.

These "Folks" haven't done their job for as long as I can remember. And, the last I checked these "Folks" work for US.

You and me!

When are we going to fire them?

Edward Kennedy has been a Senator for 46 years. 46 years!

Really?

Massachusetts?

Is this the best you have to offer?

I think that Massachusetts should have their voting privileges revoked due to repetitious stupidity.

Now to those of you who live in Massachusetts, don't get all hot and bothered. I'm just picking on you.

There are other states where people should be required to wear a helmet when they step in to the voting booth too. You aren't alone.


Our Nation is facing imminent economic doom. (Or is it?) Our lawmakers can't get out of their own way to pass legislation to save the U.S. er..... WORLD Economy?

Really?

Is this the best we have to offer?

The "Folks in Washington" want you and I to believe that the economic problems we are facing are due to "Greed on Wall street" and the housing market going soft.

You know what? I guess they are right. The housing market did go soft and there isn't a shortage of greed on Wall street.

But let's take a look at the last 36 years.

I think it was 1972 and again in 1995 that the "folks" passed legislation that in effect told home lenders that they are required to give loans to high risk borrowers.

So, the home lenders made these loans and charged a premium interest rate. (You would expect a higher interest rate for a higher risk borrower wouldn't you? Isn't that how loan companies help cover the risk they are taking on by giving this high risk loan in the first place?)

But then all of a sudden that was "Predatory Lending". The loan companies were taking advantage of the high risk borrower.

The home loan companies were price gouging John Q Homeowner because he wanted to buy a $150,000 home on $25,000 per year in welfare money that was documented on his loan application as "verified income".

Thus began the practice of making "Sub-prime" loans.

Now, these loans are coming due. And John Q's $700 per month interest only house payment is all of a sudden $1500 a month and he can't afford it.

And the banks are left holding the bag.

Or should I say....the taxpayer is left holding the bag.

It looks to me, that the people in Washington are the same people who caused this problem.


The chickens are coming home to roost people.


Vote out every Incumbent and do it every election until we FIRE ALL OF THEM.

As we vote in someone new, we need to watch them closely and if they don't do what is right...

FIRE THEM TOO!


Don't forget. Our "Leaders" work for US.

It's time we start sending a message saying that we expect them to do what we pay them for!
